It has been a while since I've posted a picture on here. I thought I would start the year off right by following @prasad's awesome spiral and wish everyone a happy new year! I can't wait to see how far we'll go :)

And totally awesome greeting. You have always been a great help in coaching my son as he is a leftie too. You inspire him a lot. He found copperplate a little hard to cope with so now is learning Spencerian. Started out with Palmer's method and going on to Spencerian.

He is 17 now, It's hard enough to monitor his work related internet usage. This forum is addictive and like me, he will be spending all his free time on here ;D ;D He can do this once he is in college.
He had quite bad handwriting and wanted to improve it. He is quite wavering in his practise, that is until he was complimented by a few of his classmates on the pens and the improved Palmer writing. Now it's all "I HAVE to learn this" . So he is a still little raw, but getting there.

That's so pretty Star. I really like the wheat looking flourish above the "y" in happy - does that type of flourish have a specific name? thanks for sharing :)
