So excited to find this treasure trove of information! I've seen people write that the calligraphy community is so giving and that is so evident here.
I've been fascinated by calligraphy for about...20 years? Bought a kit and paper and didn't do anything with it. I don't know what made me decide to really dive in but after paying for a modern calligraphy worksheet and practicing for about 5 minutes I decided to google "the history of calligraphy" and well, the rest is history. Copperplate speaks to my soul!
I have a regular day job, mom of 3, and photography has been a big part of my life for the last 13 years. I don't have too much free time but I'm trying to instill some peace and quiet and mindfulness in my life and the practice of calligraphy is like therapy! Thanks for all the information!!

ps. A few years ago I found a font I really liked and went on a hunt for a day or two to find it. I finally did and paid a lot of money to have it in photoshop. It was "Bickman Script Pro".
