Hi Erica!

Been having a little problem changing my name in the user profile, an error comes up after, I think maybe it's because we have the same name?

"An Error Has Occurred!
The username you tried to use contains the reserved name 'Erica'. Please try another username."

Sorry for the noobie question, appreciate your help!

Correct, there are actually a few Erica's I believe. That field reflects what your user profile account will show up as and as with any other account based forum you cant have two with the exact same display name.

Sorry for the delay in my response. (Thank you Heebs!  )

I see you figured out a work around.  If that works OK for you, then you can keep it that way. If you would prefer something different, PM me and I will work it out. I have set a parameter so no one else can register the user name just Erica to avoid confusion. And possibly you had trouble because my middle initial is L.

Thanks for the reply, was actually trying to change my profile name to ericalligraphy to reflect my ig name, but still having the same error popup come up in my screen. Although this is not really a major problem, I can stick with what I have now
