Am using several cages and LOVE them. Have read the older thread with reviews. Wonderful info. Only question for me is: has anyone had any problems with the cage detaching from the nib after using for awhile (after using & cleaning several times)? I'm thinking I am perhaps too aggressive in cleaning.
It often looks as though I didn't get it cleaned well, and gently use a toothbrush on cage. Could be I am not gentle enough with drying/blotting. Good or bad idea to use Windex or alcohol - maybe there is some effect on glue or whatever is used to attach the nib? Mostly use Sumi or Walnut.
And if Jim is reading this...can I re-attach a cage? I PROMISE I will not stop buying them!
