A "Warm" hello from San Diego!
« on: September 13, 2018, 03:45:32 PM »
Hi Everyone.  I'm not quite a Newbie.  I took a Chancery (I think that's what it was called)  calligraphy class many, many years ago at a Michael's craft store and I used it to address envelopes mostly. Fast forward and I am now at a place in my life where I have time to focus on calligraphy.  I've been practicing for about a year.  I found Lindsey Bugbee's website first and started having fun there.  Now I'm going back to the basics with Eleanor Winters' Mastering Cooperplate Calligraphy.  At the moment, I'm involved in a class given by Phyllis Macaluso called Flourishing and Foliates.  It is a steep learning curve for me but I think I'm doing okay!  Nice to be here on Flourishing Forum.

Welcome @lizabetht ! Isn’t Phyllis’s class great! A few of us have taken it and I took her second class as well. Such great classes and so many things they can be used on.

Hope you are enjoying Flourish!  ;D
Warm Regards,
Erica
