 @JanisTX Claude Mediavilla is a giant!  French guy.  He has written a lot of books! I don't think any of it is in English unfortunately.

@Daniel Mastrofski Seriously!! That's a major talent!!  His lettering is divine!!  I can see why you admire his work!  I'm thinking about ordering one of his books & relying heavily on my friend, Google translator, to help me comprehend what he has to say. Thanks for introducing me to him!

Beautiful lettering! I will have to search out his work as well!

Thank you for sharing Zaner's exemplar @mintran His work is always impeccable. I agree with you @Ken Fraser and from what I have read in the old texts, showing the breaks like that were for demonstration purposes only to show where the artist lifted the pen. Contrary to popular belief, it was not considered desirable in the finished calligraphy.
