Thanks for this Linda. I particularly liked Antiquaria, when I was having a hard time with capitals. They have video tutorials now too, so awesome. Haven't heard of Emilie Friday so will def check her site out.
Antiquaria is great! I wish all these online tutorials were around when I started. All the tutorials back then were on YouTube, from master penmen which I found totally intimidating.
When I decided to be more serious about calligraphy a few years ago, I purchased Emilie's kit on Etsy. Back then she didn't have any exemplars, just pen, ink, nib, and a folio. But I really like her style - she was formally trained and has taken her calligraphy to the next level by creating beautiful contemporary styles. This was before the days of IG and Pinterest, so it wasn't as easy to find calligraphers online. I emailed her some questions, and she encouraged me to look up IAMPETH and also a local calligraphy guild and that's how I found my current teacher.
