as usual...your best calligraphy is appreciated.  Ready, Set...GO!

A test of endurance and how my penmanship breaks down after the first line... :D

Looks good to me! I'm learning that it's somewhat difficult to write a longer letter and be totally consistent to the last letter. I've been writing some of the penpal letters and I have to pace myself or things start to look like a big mess.

This isn't really a favorite poem, just a funny one from Harry Potter. Of course I had to stick my finger in the ink right before taking a picture, to mess up the last line. Oops.

I'm not really into poetry as a rule, which is why it's unusual that this one has stuck with me for many years:

It's only an excerpt, but I love me some Bobby Burns.

I just have to make sure that when I read him aloud, which, in opinion is the best way to enjoy him, I have to have a wee dram beside me, and no one else around, especially No True Scotsman. My accent is atrocious, but the more I sip the dram, the more bold become my recitation. It's definitely a pleasure to be enjoyed by myself.  ::)

So, I want each of you to read this aloud to yourself in your best Scotts accent. Don't worry, only your coworkers or family will think you're strange, and they probably do anyway. (what's that funny pen?)
