Well done, Dries. That is one inspiring song.
At the risk of straying from calligraphy somewhat, that song was undoubtedly one of my father's favorites, sung not by Pavarotti (as he was a child at the time), but rather Mario Lanza in the late '40's or early 50's. He would play that song (and others from the same album) at a volume that would rattle the china in the cabinets. Marvelous. Passionate. Stirring.
If I were to listen to that song, I couldn't write a straight line. For writing, I'm more likely to listen to Bill Evans, Ben Webster, Art Tatum, Dexter Gordon, maybe a little Coltrane. Or if silence in music is possible, some Gregorian chant.

Off topic- I'm with you. In an earlier life I had the experience of playing with Dexter Gordon, and I am a great admirer of the late Bill Evans.
