Hi Nickkih I find so much character in your writing! Still a noob so I don't think I'm good to judge which is good for you but on personal experience writing with obliques keep me in a more consistent slant. Just like what everyone says if you want modern then you can do with the straights, but you're learning copperplate so your oblique is your next best friend!
