Finally somebody from Sydney is here! :P I just moved to this city few months ago from US and currently lives in the inner west. So anyway, welcome to the flourish forum! ^_^ maybe we could do a pen meet up sometime :)

Cheers!

Mike! So sorry that I just reply your message! I don't think I can make it this year. :( Even though Harvest's workshop in Hkg and Jakarta has been postponed to next year, there is family things that I need to deal with before end of this year. Really miss you guys!  :(

I'm back! Waving hi to Mike, Elaina, Schin, and everyone! ;D ;D ;D hope all of you were enjoying the photos! I've been busy doing the online private teaching, making some projects, fixing website and life and also preparing for Harvest's visit to Jakarta in November 2017. :) Hope I can meet you guys sometime soon!  :)
@MarthaDays
Great to "see" you again. Don't be a stranger.
Are you returning to the Saga this year?

OMG! I live in Sunnyvale! Are you part of any of the local guilds? If you are perhaps you've even met me- I just joined a couple months ago. Either way, if you're interested in meeting some of the local calligraphers I would be happy to introduce you (or at least myself) since you live so close.

Hi! glad to know somebody live close by! No, I'm not part of any yet. I moved out of country for several months. However I will be glad if I can meet some local calligrapher or even you when I get back :) I'll PM you :) Thank you so much!

Hi everyone who has replied my introductions. It has been so long since I posted this topic. Life has been pretty busy, doing some personal project and moved to China temporarily for few months for the project and I even missed out some calligraphy exchange here. My improvement in calligraphy is pretty slow, but I'm pretty sure I can get there one day. :)

However, I have signed up for this year's exchange and I also took a spencerian online class with Harvest :) Glad to see some of you whose work I admire and were replying my introductions are also taking the class. I hope I can learn with you guys!

Thank you so much for all of your warm welcome and encouragement and so sorry for the late reply :)

Cheers! XX

So agree w this! I may end up focusing on eating the desserts :P coz it happened to me before LOL It is very challenging, indeed to flourish a dessert ;)

;D haha I wish! Someone could definitely send me some Krispy Kreme's and Laduree! But it would be super if I could challenge myself to flourish a dessert! But I might just doodle them or use stickers  ;)

Such great ideas! Everyone is so creative!

... -Desserts, with sweets, candy, pastries, etc.

Will this be solely writing, or include an actual sample of the pastries?  ;) yuuuummmmmyyy count me in!  ;D
