Travelling with nibs

Hey guys!! I have a question, does anybody know if I'm allowed to bring the nibs in my carry-on luggage? Will it be an issue to the custom security at the airport??

I put em in my carry on, no one said anything... though if prompted I'd loooove to explain to TSA how they're not murderous killing machines.

Carry-on is okay, but I'd separate them from the penholder just to be safe.
