Hello-
I'd like to share my Halloween Exchange with you all. This was my first and I had such a great time with this! I did get a bit over ambitious though and ended up using a font on the Dragon's Blood Ink page. Which is probably for the better since my Uncial is terrible! Maybe one of you can suggest some exemplars or tutorials? I hope you enjoy it and are having a very Happy Halloween!

Hi! This was my first exchange and it has been so much fun! And I recieved the most beautiful mail! I have been trying to upload photos to share woith you all, but can't seem to make it work. Which is too bad because BEAUTY! Thank you so much @Starlee , @Inked botanicals , Rynda Moore and Esmeralda Jonsson for your beautiful work! I'll try posting the pics another time.

Hi Flourish Forum!
Wow, I can't believe how long I have been lurking around here! I am a calligrapher from New York, NY. I first learned italic from my mom, who learned from the nuns at her convent boarding school, so it was no joke! After many years casually flirting with calligraphy for friends and art projects, I got the bug again and started taking classes here in NYC with the Society of Scribes - our local guild. I took loads of pointed pen, and loved it. Recently I have been back at my broad pen roots and realize how much it pleases me. I am obsessed! As a mom of 2 I am enjoying trying to start a business from home and continue to take as many classes and learn all I can. This forum is amazing! Anytime I want to post a question, I search it and it is already answered. Thank you to all the experienced scribes here for sharing your knowledge. Looking forward to coming out of the shadows!

Ok so this was my first exchange here at the flourish forum and I got a little over ambitious! I am so sorry to have missed the deadline by 2 days. They were all sent on Wednesday and I watched them go into the (non machined) bin at the P.O. so I truly hope they make it in time! Apologies again and looking forward to your gorgeous mail! I'd post a pic but then whats the surprise?
