Do tell and do show your pen

InkyFingers:
I see.  It came in a box of useless thing from evilBay.

I paid for the gold pen and these other things came along.

At first, I thought it to be a nib holder for the Spencerian No 12.  For sure, not the larger nibs of Gillott No 1 or even the smaller Gillott 170.

Thanks Michael for your insight.

Looks great for scooping pigments and scraping mistakes. Calligraphy...the latest drug.

One end is an eraser?

One end is a snuff spoon?

or is it a javelin?

This is a tooth pick and earwax remover.
I had recently found an E-book on HISTORY ON FOLEYS  GOLD DIP PENS .
There's a page on all the products of them and they have line of these instruments . So these portable  instruments seems to have being used  as they were using their writing tools .

Erica McPhee:
LOL - it does look like a toothpick and ear wax remover!
