pixelmator and brushes

Hi,

I am new to design and just bought watercolor brushes from creativemarket. Was
wondering if someone could please please help me with the settings. im using
pixelmator.

i have tried for a while and cant seem to do what i want.

i would like to do some brush stroke calligraphy.

what settings should i use to get the lettering for brush font?

This is way beyond my area of expertise (if I have one, which is wide open to debate) ... however, I'm wondering whether you are using a digitising tablet like a Wacom or similar?

My apologies if I'm being Captain Obvious.
