Hello, I'm new to the Flourish Forum and am thankful I was able to join! 

I have been interested in (learning) calligraphy for many years and am finally ready to move forward, just unsure where exactly to start.  I think it's a beautiful form of art!

I work in app development and am my father's caregiver. 

I'm looking forward to meeting others here - and flourishing!

Glad to hear you are able to start learning calligraphy! It can be overwhelming but once you get into it, a whole new world opens up.

Are you looking to learn pointed pen like Copperplate or broad edge like Italic or Blackletter? We have a few tutorials for Copperplate. And lots of suggestions for supplies and getting started.
