No Affiliation; I'm just a great admirer of Unique Oblique Custom Penholders.

Far right, a unique oblique that I've had for a few years now.  Totally unused.  Come to think of it, I haven't picked up a dip pen holder for a very long time.  Shameful really, but I guess it's not really my thing, and so as it stands I have a small collection of decorative sticks.  First world problems of course! :)

Oh my word! That last one on the right is GORGEOUS! That blue and brown combo - wow. I have several that I no longer use and just keep on display. I have to refrain from buying all the pretty ones!  ;D

Very nice holders indeed.
I like them all and one in the bottom  is already in my next list. ;D
It should come from USA of course.

Repurpose as Harry Potter magic wands?  ;D

Since everyone is picking their favorites, I am very much an admirer of light colored wood and simple lines.  But also, like @InkyFingers, think that there is never anything not to like in a beautifully figured burl!  So, a toss-up between #1 and #5.

I like the elegant simplicity of the fourth from the left. Also, the one at the bottom is probably the most adaptable.

If I recall correctly, from the left #1 and #2 were gifts from an emerging maker called Howard.  They have their quirks but are quite useable.  #3 and #4 are by the inimitable Chris Yoke (#4 has a ring of mastodon ivory between the burl front and tail.  #5 is an ergonomic holder in Yew (one of my favourite woods) by Melanie of English Pen Crafts, #6 is by Edward of Chic Obliques, and of course #7 is the UniqueOblique by Brian.   The one on the bottom is an Hourglass holder, probably something that most people would start with.

They are all very nice to look at but would be better used by someone with some skill and/or enthusiasm.

If you ever decide to sell them, I’ll buy the last one on the right.  ;D

Well, @InkyFingers , they can be appreciated as the art they are without being used, just as people collect jewelry without wearing it, watches, fountain pens, knives, guns, stamps, so many things. Keep 'em as long as they bring you joy.

Hello,

Talking of beautiful pens - my wife happened to look over to my laptop several days ago as I was viewing the Colby Cline 'Etsy' website (I've had my eyes on a lovely '5' line for a while now). 'What do you think of that', says I. 'Not much', says her who has to be obeyed. So, I continue to turn pages,'Oh, now I do like that', says her. 'What, this one?', says I. 'Yes!', says her. 'If you like it, you can have it for our anniversay (35 years as of the 24/09/23), but only if I can name it', says her. 'Are you sure', says I. 'Yes' came the reply. So I am now awaiting for an absolutely beautiful penholder I never would have thought I'd ever own.
Say hello to, 'Coral'.

Laughter is definitely the best medicine, but Wolves destroying WBA runs laughter close, and the Yankees winning the World Series is ................ laughter is the best medicine, remember?
