Thank you so much for sharing this. One of the things I am very proud of is my Chinese heritage so I am always curious to read about such things. This was a fascinating article. What an interesting tradition. I find it equally interesting that Americans use calligraphy for celebration of weddings but one of the things the Chinese use calligraphy for is honoring the deceased. I like that idea. It would be a wonderful tradition to start (in English) - honorary scrolls or handmade books with writing about the loved one. I really like this.
