Once again, I know it's an old thread and I wish I had kept it going. Life gets in the way all the time :'( but every now and again I come across a pun that is just worth posting on here and I'm reluctant to make another thread. I'm giving this card to my mum for mothers day :)

@fderk
Looks great, broad edge still mystifies me. If this is amateur then I'm just a scrub :D haha

@darrin1200
They're attached fine. Just side ways lol
Were you looking for critique on your work or just to post your progress? A good start to say the least.

@ash0kgiri
Amazing, I love the ink splatter at the end, I'm thinking it looks so good it would have to be intentional. Am I right? ;)

@prasad
Wonderful, the only thing I can pick up on is the spacing on 'a' in 'walking'. Very impressive if you did that quickly and with an architect grind

@KrzysiekS
I always struggle with the tops of the acsenders. It looks like you have them down pat though. TBH I struggle with anything broad pen haha good work mate.

Just to put it out there I spent almost 3 weeks on the stuff that's in your worksheet 1. I refused to move on until I was happy with them. That was just me though. Everyone learns differently

Love it @prasad I don't see any reason why you can't do it in cursive if that's what your'e working on?

Welcome @Tonoortiz lovely work there. Let us know if you want any critique. Feel free to critique my work whenever you see it :)

So I'm back. I probably won't do this every week like I once did but probably twice a month or so with no rhyme or reason when I post because of my schedule at the moment. The terrible pun of the week doesn't need to be every week right?

So anyway this weeks is
"The store keeps calling me to come back, but all I wanted was one night-stand."

I seem to be struggling with getting my acesnder's 'wedge' to be consistent. I am pleased with the 'T' though.

Happy punning everyone, I can't wait to see your work. Keep in mind every script is welcome. It DOESN'T have to be pointed pen or copperplate.

Even though copperplate and engrossers script are a little different I think there would be a bit to gain from having a look at the lessons on Zanerian.com
As already said above it is good work. What helped me a lot when I was struggling with the o was to practice both over and under turns a lot then I would imagine the shade of the o was simply an under turn that started out without a square top

Sorry I've been away for a bit guys. I've been doing it tough at the moment and then BAM! Food poisoning on top of it haha. So this is my very out of practice submission for this weeks.
You guys skill is just increasing so fast and with all sorts of different scripts. Simply amazing.

"why do seagulls fly over the sea? Because if they flew over they bay, they'd be bagels."

This weeks quote of the week is ascender and descender heaven haha.

Have fun guys

This weeks is

"The invention of the shovel was ground breaking, but the invention of the broom was one that truly swept the nation."

please excuse my terrible foundational haha. Very little practice has happened and I mainly use it for testing fountain pen inks. The ink I was testing is Diamine burgundy rose.
Don't be afraid everyone give it a go. If you're new or just want to. Have a go an an older pun that you like. Just try and do this weeks as well. No pressure though.

CC always welcome and I obviously need a lot of it on my foundational haha.

Not the extraction @prasad, but the pain and pain killers seem to give me a light head and a shaky hand. I mean look at those Majuscule P's and the E. Gross lol
