Like many calligraphers, I have a very expansive library of calligraphy and lettering books. Some of them have been invaluable in my learning journey, others have been fun to look at, and sadly, some just take up space on my crowded shelves.
I thought it would be fun to write some book reviews on some of the more helpful books I have collected over the years. It would be great if others would like to do the same.
If you decide to do so, please read the copyright details carefully before sharing any photos or scans from inside the book. Some books state how or what can be shared, others don't. Usually you can find a website for the publisher to inquire for permission to use parts of the book in a review. Also, while I think it is important to be honest, please be kind, respectful, and gentle to our dear writers/artists who have endeavored to contribute to the calligraphic community.
