OMG! I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found this forum! I have been wanting to learn calligraphy.  I'm just getting started with exploring it and I have no idea where to start, what paper and pen to use. Currently the only pen I have is this ZIG Calligraphy pen 3.0, is this okay for a beginner like me?

By the way, my name is Aann and  I am from Philippines. This forum is wonderful and thank you for sharing it! Looking forward to learning from people here.

Welcome to the Flourish forum.   :)

This is the perfect place to start and learn and grow.  You will find endless resources and material to practice and loads of people here ready to help you out on any queries you will have.

A good place to start would be these threads on the forum. 
Recommended supplies for Beginners

Favourite practice paper

Mr. Ken Fraser, an amazing calligrapher and member of this forum created this thread for different types of exemplars.  If you have not yet decided on what style to start with, these examples will help a lot.

If and when you decide to use pointed nibs,  this thread will help a lot
My Favourite nibs for pointed pen

The tutorials made by Erica in the pointed pen Nirvana section are perfect to start copperplate practice.

I have a question guys, In the lessons here, can i use brush pens instead of nibs? I really wanna learn the modern calligraphy.
