Hi All!

I've been a lurker for a while and decided to introduce myself.
I had a short flirtation with calligraphy as a teen, but didn't have the discipline to do anything with it. Recently I have picked it back up and am finding it a very relaxing and meditative hobby. Though I am often a poor participant on forums as a rule, I look forward to learning and sharing what I can.
I really am glad to have found such an active board. :) Thanks!

Welcome!  I usually don't have much to say, either, but I have been forcing myself to make comments.  I always think that what I have to contribute is not as good as what the professionals have, but I have learned that everything helps.  We all have something to learn from each other.  I'm sure you will have much to contribute, as well.
