Some of us newbies need all the help we can get.  :)

Hi Brad, I'm also in the civil engineering field. I basically float between civil engineering, civil design and civil drafting in my role. Quite diverse but it keeps me on my toes.
Cool I also did pipelines (natural Gas) too for a while. It was much easier (drafting and designing). Hopefully soon I will start back into civil just waiting on them to buy a freaking computer for me to work on. Anyways good luck with your calligraphy journey.

Thanks, my journey into calligraphy has only just begun but I'm sure I'll enjoy every minute.

Welcome to the forum Lacey.

There's something much more rewarding getting your hands dirty, than sitting at a computer all day long.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

Do we have many other Aussies floating around on this site?

I've seen a few here and there - I know one of my calligraphy friends (and inspirations? friendspirations?) njac does some lurking here. I don't think there are as many as I could wish .__.

There is always a few lurking in the background. I've have to keep an eye out.
