@Diane Bennett

Hi Diane

Please do participate - just select beginner level on the sign-up form - everyone is very welcome, and your lettering alone would be more than enough - don't feel any pressure to be 'arty' - your interpretation will be appreciated by everyone who receives I am sure.

Kind regards

Completed/Past Exchanges / Re: Give Me Your Heart Valentine Exchange 2017
« on: January 01, 2018, 03:19:19 PM »
@fridzleah Freida I have only just read that you didn't receive my Valentine's post! - I am so sorry you didn't - and really disappointed because I put a lot of heart into them. I actually know what you mean though all. I both expect to not get at least 2, and for some of mine to go missing in every exchange I do - so sad and frustrating! I will send you one in my 2018 Valentine exchange - and hope this future one gets to you!

I don't often do a recky of which are missing after an exchange is complete - for several reasons - I am in the UK so feel like post might take an unreasonable time to arrive, plus I don't want to be on people's cases if they are simply delayed, but also I find it quite depressing after putting in a ridiculously OTT amount of work haha...

Best, Claire x

Oh @Elisabeth_M how I agree re typing - I learnt during a secretarial diploma aged 21 - a significant proportion of which has long since evaporated from my grey matter, but touch typing still stands as the most useful skill I EVER learned - bar none :-)...

thank you @Brookeemcdonald - mine have gone in the post today too :-), very sorry for lateness all...

To all those on my list - apologies I am late getting them out. A combination of ridiculous over-ambition (as usual) and a pre-schooler with a nasty cold which she has now passed on to everyone in the house...

They will be in the post in the next few days. Laborious progress is detailed on my IG :-) ...

Kind regards

Janna good luck! Your addressing will be wonderful, and so appreciated I feel sure. And thank you for asking this question - I hope to be in your position sometime in the not too distant future, and any advice coming your way will benefit myself and others as well...

Jean thank you so much for your considered reply - enormously helpful for us newbies to read.

Kind regards

I am so very glad that both your and your parents' homes are only minorly affected Erica. best wishes for getting home and getting back to normal life as soon as possible x

Thinking of those amongst you who have suffered badly with this and other disasters - both natural and not. We are lucky here in the UK that the weather is rarely so frightening, and never for most of us.

Love to all

Ahh thank you SOO much for this help ladies! @Erica McPhee @Elisabeth_M - whilst I got there in the end (in a ridiculously laborious and convoluted manner!) it is an ongoing battle so I will definitely come back to these suggestions next time! :-) x

Hi Faye

I recommend Roger Mayeda supplied by penman direct, cost £45 or thereabouts, superb. I have two - EF66 and Nikko G. They are only available for a limited time, check out the site - recommended by Postman's Knock :-)
