That is insane!!
Overall, it's a nicely fine and fairly flexible nib. But your hand sits so far away from the paper, more than a half-inch further than with a regular falcon, that you can't write with much control. I'm not even bothering showing the lame attempts.I still think a video of it in action would be rather interesting to watch, though

Hi! I'm so excited to be on the forum
My name is Sherlyn – but do call me Sherl – and I'm 19, from Singapore. I love reading and photography the most. I also love drawing but I'm not very good at it.
A couple months ago I started hand-lettering and finally got around to buying a few calligraphy tools at the beginning of this month. I currently own two Nikko Gs, a set of Brause Blue Pumpkins, a wooden nib holder, a bottle of Higgins Eternal, a Speedball calligraphy practice pad (which Higgins Eternal bleeds horribly upon... is it supposed to do that??
) and an MD notebook. I love the Brause Blue Pumpkins very much and only got them last week. Wish I'd started out with them instead!
I'm book blogger as well as a 'bookstagrammer'. I review Young Adult books on the blog (http://mermaidwithabook.blogspot.com) but I'm on a hiatus now because of school, and am more active on my bookstagram (https://instagram.com/mermaidwithabook/ – where books meet photography!). Here's the result of my calligraphy on bookstagram, where I wrote the first sentence of The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern in white gouache with the Blue Pumpkin:
I'm planning to do more of this kind of stuff, so I'm not sure if I'll be creating another Instagram account exclusively for my calligraphy yet or turn my personal account (https://instagram.com/monstrousbeauty/) into one (it's kind of starting to, actually)... that'd be a whole lot of accounts to handle!
I just realised this is turning rather long for an intro so I'd better stop for now XD Anyway I'm really happy to be here and hope to get to know you all better!
