I don't have the USB version though, just the regular power adapter.
@Raayynuh great news, I just needed an new adapter. My light box lives!

I just read in my Ames Compendium about this topic.
Ames rule eight for practical writing, "The small s should never be made with a loop below the line, as it liable to be mistaken for a p or f,"
My opinion is that penman would maybe show off with the double s variation.

Samsung specifically I know makes a tv that WILL listen in on your conversations for marketing info. It’s likely Alexa and the like do that too, but you don’t expect it as much from your smart TVs.
Yes, my TV does. I heard Siri does too, so I turned her off from my handhelds. Here's a story. My sister-in-law just had a baby, and we were texting on WhatsApp. Somehow they get your info too, because all my old instagram ads for yoga clothes have now turned into baby clothes.
It's creepy for me because I grew up without computers/cell phones. I asked my students (9th grade) about privacy and they didn't seem to care. I guess maybe it's generational. It's as if our smart devices do not think we can shop for our dumb selves.
So, Instagram (if you are reading this) please bring back chronological order in my feed and I can handle the ads you stick in there.

My negative Insta feedback would be changing the feed from chronological order and not seeing people I follow feeds. I hate it. I just give up now on trying to catch-up on everyone's work.

I just learner from Heather Held, to first deep your nib in water and then your ink. Maybe this will help saving the nib from corroding. I use Sumi like Bianca suggested with the water ratio.

Class information:
The Passionate Pen Workshop brings the student into the magical world of English Roundhand. Often called “Anglaise” or “Copperplate,” English Roundhand is the historic name attributed to this graceful form of handwriting. We will briefly explore the evolution of the script as well as the confusing terminology that is often associated with the hand. We take an intense look at the Universal Line of Beauty which is the key to achieving a delicate script hand. Throughout the workshop, we explore the traditional forms of this flowing hand while empowering the student to find freedom in creating their own unique script. This hand is meant to be written rather than slowly drawn. The goal of the workshop is to have the student find their own rhythm of writing while developing a muchlighter approach to the hand. We will be using exemplars gleaned from English and Spanish Writing Masters. We focus on European forms in the lowercase letters as well as gracefully flourished capitals. Although flourishing will not be the focus of this workshop, we will spend some time learning how to gracefully embellish your work. The class is meant to free your pointed pen hand as well as help you develop your own style of English Roundhand. This class assumes a practical knowledge of pointed pen skills and is an intermediate level class. A delight to explore!
