Introductions / Hi from a stay-at-home graphic designer

Hi,
I'd like to introduce myself! My name is Krystal and I'm a freelance graphic designer in sunny Florida. I've been freelancing for 5 years while raising two kiddos, which has been hectic and crazy, but interesting!
I have always loved lettering, I just never knew you could make money doing it. Growing up I taught myself different handwriting styles and papered the walls of my room with quotes and Bible verses and song lyrics. Once I got started doing layout and design in college, I told myself I didn't really have any drawing skills and left it at that.
In recent months I've had a desire to get away from the computer and do more with my hands. I started trying some hand lettering design, and I've been completely sucked in to the beauty of calligraphy. I'm particularly drawn to modern calligraphy.
I follow several FF member Instagram accounts and tagged a photo of mine #flourishforum before I even knew what it was. Whoops!
I'm excited to be part of this forum and to learn/develop a new skill! Thanks for having me.
