Wow, this guy not only wrote out the entire Torah, he did it without a mistake!  This is divinely-inspired calligraphy!

Interesting that this looks like one of the few jobs around for professional calligraphers, a sofer.  I wonder if there are other holy books that must be written by hand?

He used a quill and sheepskin parchment.   No mention of the ink type, but I imagine an iron gall formulation.  I wonder how many quills he went through.

I love the community involvement!  And people dancing when he finished it ... what a joy to be part of that!  I wish people would dance in the streets when I finish pieces...

I make mistakes even writing a single word sometimes, because I get so engrossed with needing to perfect the characters >_> This is embarrassing.
