Ron Tate Instruction DVD
« on: September 27, 2016, 02:57:24 PM »
The writing in this trailer fascinates me greatly.

I think I've never seen it done as briskly as this. No judgement of course, just an observation. The result looks absolutely wonderful. I'm wondering if this technique could be something for me. Or is it only for the real masters?

Thoughts?

I have his copperplate video the companion to this one. he does a lot of interesting things that I have never seen. But I am sure you will get something out of it. I know I did with his other video.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful video @Rednaxela. Im in no position to comment. Going a little offtrack, this reminds me of my college days were we used to do something called, 'Rapid sketches' to understand the basic shape and perspective of an object. And then sit and fine tune it. And absolutely no harm in trying. Don't know what would click :D.

@Brad franklin, thanks! The DVD is certainly on my wish list now.

The Copperplate DVD must have been this one?

@ash0kgiri, thank you for the suggestion. Will try it out indeed!
