I started out with the Nikko G and Zebra G.  If i had to choose between these two, Nikko G!  I am a fan of the Brause Steno too.  But I have branched out to other nibs recently thru a sampler pack i got from John Neals Books.

so agree with this review.  the Gillott 303 & 404, Hunt 56, I may have to try again.  I was not a big fan due to the scratchiness on the upstrokes.  It really requires a a very light hand on the hairlines.  but all the rest... LOVE them all!  they are organized in my little storage container as faves.

Thank you for the recommendations.  i saw that Brause one in a recent search.     I had just ordered and received an E+M straight holder (with the 4-prongs).  It fit perfectly in it and the rest of my collection of nibs.  Yay!  I plan on getting another brand of this style, maybe the Brause one.

Hello,

I seem to have a challenging time finding the right fit for a pen holder for both Gillott 290 & 291 nibs.  Any recommendations?  I appreciate your help in advance.

Hi everyone!  My name is Jennifer!  So grateful to be here!  Looking forward to meeting and conversations with you all!  yay!  Been doing this calligraphy since 2016, started with brush lettering and now taking a course using a pointed pen!  So loving it!
