Hello!

My name is Joy Fairclough.  I'm an American calligrapher and ashtanga yoga teacher, and I live in the South of France with my husband and three step-kids.  I am enamoured of the pointed pen, and currently fixated on Spencerian Script.  I'm so glad The Flourish Forum is up and running, because with the surge in popularity of hand-lettering, I think it's wonderful to be able to come to a space like this which watched over by talented professionals like Erica, with years of experience and expertise under her belt.  She's been very generous with her time and advice to me and is a fabulous mentor!
