Beautiful, @AnasaziWrites. I have yet to figure out exactly what it is about your Spencerian style that I love so much, but I always find it so pleasing to study. Very elegant.
@Bianca M Thank you, Bianca.
So sorry my scan of this is so poor. The original is much nicer. When I scan at higher resolution to properly capture the hairlines, the file is either too big for this site and/or, when clicked on, it expands to such a large size that the writing can not be read as a whole without scrolling up and down, side to side.
There are many styles within Spencerian and ornamental writing, of course. Glad you like this one. Although Madarasz and other heavily shades styles seem to be the rage these days, I lean towards a more delicate form, like A. D. Taylor. To each his own. They are all enjoyable.
The photo (which I took the morning I posted it here), is what I call a "Thinking Man (or Woman)" photo. That is, it made me think of certain ideas, and I recalled the quote that matched, as best I could, the thoughts so provoked.
