Introductions / Hey! from Brooklyn, NY

I started my calligraphy journey with I Still Love Calligraphy and Skillshare. I lost my motivation to practice with both classes, partly because I was busy with work and I wanted to run before I could walk -- and as we are all aware it takes quite a bit of time and patience to be a skillful calligrapher.
I joined the Flourish Forum with the hope that being around calligraphers would inspire me to continue my practice. For the past month I have followed Erica's lessons, practiced daily and read all the wonderful advice and tips you all share. I have also started to follow many of you on Instagram and I am grateful for everyone's posts as they are the motivation and daily reminders that I need to practice.
