Title: Flourishing Workshop in NYC!

So in the synchronicity that is my life - this morning I mentioned I had never seen a workshop dedicated solely to flourishing lettering. Well guess what?! This afternoon I saw fabulous calligrapher Xandra Y. Zamora of XYZ Calligraphy will be hosting a workshop in NYC dedicated to "Mastering the Flourish!"

The workshop is hosted by the Society of Scribes and is for intermediate and up calligraphers. It will be held May 17-18th. More details will be posted on the Society of Scribes website soon:  Society of Scribes (http://www.societyofscribes.org/calligraphy-classes-workshops/).

Lucky are those who live in NYC!  ;D

Lucky NYC people!

Xandra is from the LA area and holds classes reguarly. Sadly I've not attended, because they're mostly weeknights and I'd have to drive 1+ hr to get to her area  :-\  An interesting thing is I believe she uses straight holders!

Xandra is a wonderful calligrapher! Lucky folks who get to take her Flourishing workshop!!
