I wanted to share with all of you.  I just got back from a two day Spencerian workshop with Michael Sull. 
He is so passionate about doing all he can to preserve the art, and the history of Spencerian .  And he wants to pass on everything he knows so that it's not lost to future generations.  His Spencerian teacher was a student of Zaner and Bloser. 
Michael is a good teacher.  We started at the very beginning with the basics, then miniscules, to Majuscules then Flourishing. 

One of the things he mentioned was a Wonderful collection of books that were found, and are now for sale.  He urged everyone who is interested in Spencerian to consider these books to purchase.  And there is a limited quantity.   It's listed as Reprinted Penmanship Manuals.  The set sells for $70.

The Moleskine notebooks for sale with the peacock flourish look very cool.  Too bad Moleskine paper is reported not to be fountain pen friendly.
