Wow!  This really beautifully demonstrates the formal relationship between Cancelleresca and Copperplate!

@Ken Fraser - would you mind terribly if I showed this image to my paleography students when we move into discussion of the formata vs. corsiva versions, and how the corsiva anticipates the later Copperplate styles?

I would be so grateful, and would credit you of course (it would also be a fun way to discuss professional citational protocols for digitally reproduced images).
