I get really thin, practically invisible hairlines using Finetec pearl watercolors and Pearl Ex Pigments. I have tried Nikko G, Brause Steno and Brause EF 66 nibs. It would be a shame to give up on these beautiful colors, so I'd love to know if anyone had the same problem and managed to work their way around it.

Does anyone know where to buy walnut ink in Europe/UK? I'd love to buy supplies from the States but I really need to avoid exorbitant customs costs  #secondworldproblems

I've used Kuretake Sumi ink with Brause EF66 and Rhodia paper for months. The combination is just okay, not bad but I need to find something better. However that ink is sooo bad for nibs! Last week I tried Higgins Eternal for the first time and was shocked that I could just wipe it off the nib, it left no residue or rust. I don't even mind that the results are not quite as good as with Kuretake Sumi, this will be my practice ink from now on, at least until walnut ink convinces me.

I'm looking for a simple guidesheet with 55° slant lines and no other lines (base, ascender ...). Does such a thing exist? I have tried several guideline generators mentioned on this forum, but they are all designed to include other elements.

You can use it, but it might be bad for the nib. I have used acrylic calligraphy inks that I couldn't get off the nib completely no matter what I tried. The quality of the nib deteriorated and I had to replace it almost immediately.

I go through nibs fast and consequently need to repurchase all the time. Does anyone know the supplier of Brause EF 66, Tachikawa, Nikko and Zebra G, or someone who sells them by the pack?

I'm in Europe, but ordering internationally is not a problem.

I'm looking for an oblique pen holder for the Brause EF66 and would appreciate your advice.

I'm based in Europe, but I haven't found any European sellers, so I'm going international. My budget is up to $50 (shipping included).

I don't want a plastic pen, but otherwise don't care how it looks, as long as it's a good tool.

Does anyone have a suggestion?
