Maybe shorten or drop the inner serif, or make one letter a little taller so they sort of nest together.

@Vintage_BE …I tried your favorite L! It is a fun letter to write, but I really had to concentrate. I enjoyed this Inktober. I missed a few and debated trying to catch back up, but I thought that might get stressful and take the fun out of it. I was surprised to find that I struggled more with the basic capitals than the flourished letters. I think it is because there is no where to hide in a pure letter….every stroke stands out…good or bad!
