Good afternoon all – I'm Gibby.

I've had an infatuation with calligraphy and lettering for as long as I can remember. I am in no way a calligrapher myself, but I have – interesting – handwriting and I love to draw – and I practice lettering in one form or another almost everyday. I'm always looking for inspiration and this seemed like a fabulous place to find some.

Thanks all! I didn't realize there were so many Houstonians around these boards – such a nice surprise. It already feels more like home.  :)

Sarah Foutz – I will hopefully be posting some of my handwriting in the Kindly Critique area very soon. I'm rather interested to see what the posters around here will say about my magpie style – and can hopefully give me some advice on where to go next.

Hey, Gibby!  Welcome!  I'm a Texan, too, but I'm way up in the Panhandle. I make my wat down to Houston often, though!   I'm glad you found FF!
