From the article, "Resembling a signature as if handwritten, the word “Montblanc” in round and arabesque letters is drawn onto the bottle..."

And yet ... not any calligraphy to be found... Maybe it should have been called "Typography Edition." Thoughts?

And, you get to spend 73 Euros (~$80 USD) to smell the way Montblanc thinks a calligrapher should smell!

Ah, Montblanc: purveyors of fine status symbols. I've been saying for a while that they really ought to bring out a strictly limited edition of their most prestigious fountain pen, with the words "Too Big To Fail" picked out on the barrel in itty-bitty diamonds. They'd sell like hot cakes.

That said (and MB really do give me the pip), I must admit that I love their "shoe" style ink bottles.

Still, classy looking luxury packaging. Hopefully you won't refill your MontBlanc with the perfume and vaporize yourself with Diamine ink...

Have you seen the new Halloween Tattoo parfum from J del Pozo?? They have some sort of campaign where a calligrapher is doing some personalized bottles. Here you have a nice picture of them, the photo is from the calligrapher, Mr. Kams

Not handwritten - produced in a font and then covered with random hairlines, which enter and leave the letters in the most unlikely and inappropriate places.

Why cant they come out with an ink- cologne hybird? Our fingers are generally covered with it anyway...

This is going to be way TMI, but I seem to spend as much time smelling Sailor brand ink as I do writing with it. "I'd wear that..." said the id. "You'd smell like chemicals!" replied the ego.
