John is both a very fine penman and teacher. The course, as I understand it, will focus on the whole arm movement to produce Madarasz style letters, particularly large ornamental capitals. Although this movement is taught in a number of books and youtube videos, it's always helpful to have your work examined and commented on by a master of the subject. WAM is a very useful skill to master, and in the 19th Century, was always stressed as important if not essential. Not so much these days. I'd recommend this course to anyone of any level of expertise short of master.
