Ways of Mc... written?
« on: December 31, 2016, 05:53:32 PM »
Could anyone or everyone show me how you write out Mc...in a name please?:

Example:
McDonald
McAdams

I was just wondering if it's done differently with calligraphy.

Thank you so much in advance.

I have no experience writing "Mc", though was able to find some examples that may be helpful until someone experienced can reply (links below). Seems like Mc are generally not connected with the rest of the name... the "c" is normally on the baseline, but can be slightly off as in "McCafe" examples or at the top like in the last example.

There's an old thread on this subject.

Nobody will think that putting the "c" on the baseline is wrong, and for that reason it's your safest bet.
