Pointed Pen on Glass
« on: August 02, 2022, 02:09:48 PM »
Anyone with experience using a pointed pen on glass? I'm attempting some white or yellow lettering at 3mm total height. With extra-fine, oil-based marker pens from Sharpie, or the acrylic marker from Molotow, I can get close. But I'm wondering if a dip pen and Dr. Martin's bleed-proof white might work. Or possibly Dr. Martin's Bombay India ink.

I would practice on a piece of waste glass (old jar or something that was going into recycling). I think you will have better luck with the oil based Sharpie pen or the acrylic markers rather than a dip pen and bleed proof white. It may work but I don’t know the staying power of the Bleedproof white.

Let me ask Schin Loong as I believe she did some white and gold lettering on glass.
