Source for design ideas and concepts - Canva
« on: September 18, 2015, 11:06:16 AM »
For those interested in layout and design, the online tool Canva is not only a great tool for creating posters, post cards, etc... it also has a terrific series of design "classes" covering all kinds of topics. A recent one that prompted me to share this with y'all is one on layout.

Other topics are found on their free Design School site. https://designschool.canva.com/

It's mainly geared to the graphic designer, but some of it can be used by calligraphy designers as well.

Plus, I've used Canva to make some really nice-looking material for my wife's ballet performances, and Canva really makes it so much easier.

I have no connection with the company other than happy with their advice and product, and thought that some of you here would appreciate the free tutorials and blog entries.

This site is awesome! I am just now seeing this ... one year later. But what a treasure!
