I use the Artograph...and I've used a Huion before.  My Huion had powercord issues within less than 2 years, but the Artograph is going strong!

I do miss the wafer thinness of the Huion...and the adjustability of the light strength with the Huion was nice, too...I do think it got brighter than the just didn't last a long time because of the power cord connection!

I totally want to follow along and see what other people have to say on this one!  ;D

Thank you for posting this!!  I'm still sad that IAMPETH in Atlanta is postponed!  :'(

I'll be in her class at the convention (assuming it doesn't get cancelled). Anyone else?

I'll be there!!!  I am SO pumped.

I'm also taking:

I love this post!!  I have some similar goals to a lot of you...

I would really like to:
1. Attend IAMPETH in Atlanta (it's SO close...I don't have to fly...I've never been and I feel the need to make it happen!)
2. Do at least 3 envelope exchanges this year (just like @Raayynuh, I used to do them all the time...but then life got busy and I just stopped)
3. Post at least 4 calligraphy-related posts on the Insta per month (I'm not getting as many calligraphy inquiries as I used to...and I miss them!)

If I get into Marian Gault's Blackletter class at IAMPETH...I might have to add practice Blackletter to my list!!  @AmyNeub sent me a BEAUTIFUL exchange envelope a while back in Blackletter, and I've always wanted to give it a try!  ;D

I sent another proof and it was approved (thank goodness!)!  I think English Roundhand was the aim...I wish I had the grandfather's contact info - I was working through a stationer, so I actually don't even have the bride's contact info, haha!

I had a moment in the process where I was thinking...what if they meant to type "less scrawl!?!"   :o.  But, all turned out well!

Thank you @AnasaziWrites and @jeanwilson - y'all always have the soundest and best advice!

Helloooo lovely people!  I'm hoping I can pick your brilliant brains:

A client rejected my first proof for an envelope job saying that she wanted something that was more upright with less scroll...that her grandfather is a calligrapher and he recommended the style "English Scroll"...I don't know what that is!  English Roundhand, maybe?  SOS!

Labeled paper strips sounds like an awesome idea!!!  I think I'm going to store all my new envelope acquisitions that way...makes good sense!  I will probably store everything else that I don't really know where it came from in ziplock baggies by size.

I wish I could store vertically...there's a piece of furniture at an antique mall near me that I would LOVE to buy that would let me store vertically...just five house portraits, and it could be mineeee!  (Oh boy...haha!)

Thank you, everyone, for your expertise!!!  I'm loving all of these awesome ideas and methods!

I am glad I'm not the only one!!  ;D

I was originally thinking boxes!  I probably have more A7's than anything else.  And then I've definitely got the miscellaneous mish-mash of the 5ish extras I keep from envelope jobs...#10's are huge in Charlotte right now!

I will have to try the ziplock bag idea...and maybe if I can suck most of the air out, I'll be able to get more envelopes in my drawer!  That sounds like a win to me!

Thanks friends!!!  It's always nice to hear how others tackle organization probs!

Hi lovely people!

I have an issue.  My blank envelope drawer floweth over!  And, every time I try to organize it, I start out with neat stacks...that end up blending with one another when I open and close the drawer.

Does anyone have an organization system that works for these?  I feel a little crazy for holding on to so many blank envelopes!

Hi friends!

I was able to get in touch with Murph using his same email address...I should have just emailed him in the first place!

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions!  He's still selling stamps! :D
