newbie question

I randomly came across this on youtube and wondered what style this is being taught, the title just calls it 'cursive'? I have been using these videos to improve my handwriting but would like to know if it is a good place to start? I certainly like the syle.

 Yes, this is a cursive style - looks like business handwriting. He also has some Spencerian on his channel. Love these videos!
