Just checking in after returning and man oh man am I tired! OMG. I met so many wonderful FF and IG friends in person for the first time and for the most part, was completely delighted. Everyone was so nice! It took about 3 1/2 days to get in the social groove. By the last night, it was like "this is where the party starts!"
The classes were amazing. Just aMAZing! I am so full of new information and techniques that I'm dying to try but I'm too tired to do much at all. Still processing the lot, too, and don't know what to do first, there was just so much!
I got one of Jake's holders, too, Chantelle.
And you're right--it's definitely going to require a learning curve. I have had a couple of moments where I felt I was working it the right way but keep slipping back into old habits. But once I get it, will it be possible to go back to an 'ordinary' pen? Maybe it'll make them work better, too...I don't know.
One thing I keep thinking about is how social media has and will affect Iampeth and I'm sure many of the senior members are wondering, considering and in some cases, alarmed at how it will. This year, to quote Ann Cobb, 2014's Iampeth President, there was an "overwhelming" response to enrollment. I only hope they are anticipating a mushrooming of interest and will be able to accommodate the growing number of interested attendees--of which I hope to get in next year!
