Here is mine.  How are you all posting pictures that aren't attachments?

Your pic appears as a PDF file.  Maybe those get handled differently than JPGs by the Forum web server?
Try with a JPG picture instead.

(Erica? Any idea?)

Hi Sheila.  Two ways to post pictures: either as an attachment or using an image server.  For the former you need a .jpg, .png or .gif file.  For the latter, which will enable you to embed your pics within the text of your post, you need to have an account with a service like Flickr, Photobucket or something like that.  You then copy the url of your picture and enclose it in "img" tags.  Like this!

Been waiting patiently for a chance to use that one!

LOL - that was cute.  So, if I do not have an account it will not be embedded in the post.  What if the attachment is a .jpg?  Also, I took a pic yesterday on my phone and tried to attach it and the pic was too big.   What is a easy way to make the pic smaller on my iphone.   I am trying to find a easy way to be able to post without having to download all my pics to the computer.  That is why my attachments are .pdf - I just scan them in.

Does it cost to have an account with Photobucket  or the others?

I appreciate your help - I was beginning to think I had become the dreaded thread killer.   LOL

Sheila,
I have been having issues as well with iphone images. For the size you can get an app to reduce size, but what i find easier is to mail it back to my self and it always asks what size the just lower it there.
I also have an issue where is says i cant upload file begause its a jepg and not jpg. So i use an app called jpeg to png, that way it will be proper format and size.
Hope this helps,
Noah

Sheila: a jpg attachment will show up as a picture underneath your post, and it will be scaled to suit the page format so you don't need to worry about the size.  Readers can click to expand.  You do need to keep the file size down to under 1.5Mb though.  Most of the image hosts are free I think: best to have a good look round.  I used to be a big fan of Flickr which is definitely free, but now I find it tremendously user hostile.  If you are opening a new account it might well work a lot more smoothly though.
