Hi All,
I just joined and I look forward to communing with you in this space. I took a "brief" hiatus (over a decade) from learning calligraphy, and I'm back at it now that my children are young adults. For now, I am practicing by penning letters to friends and reestablishing my group of pen pals. It's a great way to both practice and hold myself accountable for posting notes to friends I want to keep in touch with, regardless of distance.
In my day-to-day life, I'm a playwright, dramaturg, historian, and visual artist. For now, I have managed to move beyond the drudgery of an office job, and I appreciate this level of freedom (though, it has its challenges when the work is infrequent).
I look forward to sharing, growing, and learning together.
