New Oblique Holder
« on: December 01, 2015, 10:58:02 PM »
Hello all,
I made an oblique pen from one of my many plastic speedball contoured holders. I cut the pen with a jewelers saw and made the flange from sheet brass. I added a little customizing to the end which my wife pointed out could be used as a stand and it does. Thanks for looking,
Noah

Cool stand!  I wonder if a d20 would work as well.

Sean,
Thank you for your reply, i am taking one from my son, he has a few. Im sure i can attach it to a holder( i know i can and going to do so) but im sure it will not work as a stand because of the small footprint. The regular 6-sided is fairly precarious especially with a nib in puting weight off to one side up top. I may try it on a shorter crow quill holder that is not as tall. I will for sure post my results. Thanks again,
Noah

Nice look. Shouldn't it be fuzzy? :). How's the balance?

Prasad,
You are always so generous with me and i am very grateful for them as well as having you as a new friend and part of this community. Id like to add a couple more pictures here for you as well as for Sean's curiosity. I was able to attach a D20 but the sides are not truly flat so standing is not working and it is surprisingly heavy. So its just pressed on not glued. Thanks again,
Noah
